Toyose also known as the Korean garage in the AVES . My first visit until now the decor is the same yet the menu has simplified. True classic staples kimchi fried rice, whole fried chicken, army stew. Please bring back the Jok Bal please This place taught me what soju is. Before BTS days it was Big Bang- Haru Haru. Some 20 years later it's still gigging. Looking around reminding of my youth it hurt more when they didn't card me when I realized I was one of the oldest in the room now, This place still has the best kimchi fried rice still tho. While I'm at the gas station , to the same 12 people liking my post yall want anything ?

Heard this is a popular late-night spot for locals. I came around 9pm on a weekday and was seated right away. This place serves somewhat bar-style Korean food. Rose rice cake (5/5): Not going to spell out this dish's name by memory, but this is the best rose rice cake I ever had. It want spicy and the creaminess complemented the chewiness of the rice cake. The cheese also provided a great cheese pull. Spicy fish cake stew (5/5): We ordered this less spicy and it was my favorite dish of the night. The broth was super flavorful thanks to the seaweed and there was so much in the strew like fish cake, egg, and Naruto. We also added udon, but I don't think it was necessary after eating it. Seafood pancake (4/5): I liked how it was cut into so many small pieces. However I did not like the Jalapeño as it made it too spicy. I thought it wasn't crunchy enough either. It had an appropriate amount of seafood. Might be my new favorite Korean restaurant in SF

Nice real hole In the wall. Ordered many things as this was my 2nd time. Many things not pictured, but it's not complicated to order. The menu reads how it sounds, and everything was amazing when you need Korean food; and technically not bbq related.

The vibes of this cozy remodeled garage really give it its extra star here. Food is classic Korean bar food with reasonable prices. I thought the army stew was pretty comparable to places I've had in SoCal. The seafood pancake could've been slightly crispier but it had a decent amount of seafood inside. My friends and I came quite early on a rainy day so I'm not too sure how long the waits can get during peak hours.
